A new 2-disc DVD set has now been released to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the event. The DVDs contain 19 films from the period between 1958 and 1964, directed, produced, photographed or edited by one or more of the 26 filmmakers who signed the manifest. All films are subtitled in English, French and Spanish. The majority of the films were restored especially for the project “Provoking Reality”, with which the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen is honouring the anniversary, and has just been screened to great acclaim at the 58th Oberhausen Festival.
